Human Rights Training Begins
17th NOV 2008
Five-day training course on ‘Human Rights and Law Enforcement’ for junior commissioned officers commenced today at National Police Academy. Jointly organized by Nepal Police and OHCHR-Nepal, the training is, but one, paradigm of continued effort towards strengthening protection, promotion and respect for human rights. There are twenty-five junior police officers (Sub-inspectors and Assistant Sub-inspectors) attending in the training course. Training concludes on 21 November 2008.
